A Classis Moment In Time

One of the most important moments for English creativity was the latter years of the 19th century, when a group of dedicated artists sought to revive the classical skills of medieval craftsmen, whilst also celebrating the honesty and integrity of the way in which buildings and furnishings were made in this bygone golden age.

This became known as the Arts and Crafts movement, in which early Gothic and other imaginative styles were championed by great creative talents such as Ruskin, Pugin and William Morris.

At Rowland Homes we also believe in the integrity of traditional craftsmanship, which is why the Arts and Crafts movement has inspired us to create the luxurious family homes at Heaton Grange. In each of these individually designed and built, five and six bedroom properties you will find the signature of Arts and Crafts in grand layouts, period detail and stylistic flourishes; yet these are very much homes for the 21st century, embracing the latest building techniques and fabrication methodologies, as well as incorporating cutting-edge fixtures and fittings.
